O Caldo Lactosado Verde Brilhante (BGBB) é usado para a confirmação de Coliformes e Coliformes termotolerante em alimentos e água. A fórmula padrão do caldo atende à composição definida nas normas de microbiologia de alimentos NF ISO 4831 e NF ISO 4832. Ele também atende aos padrões usados para controle de água NF T90-413 e PR NF T90-413.
